The Annual Delaware Neuroscience Symposium will be held in person at the Audion in the STAR Tower on December 12, 2025 from 8:45 am - 5:00 pm. The symposium program includes a keynote presentation by Daeyeol Lee, PhD a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience, Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. His talk is titles "Playing games in the brain.
Selected undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs will present in one of three formats: 15 minute Short Talks, 5 minute "Lightening Talks", or a poster. Short talks will be a total of 15 minutes long including the presentation and questions. Lightening Talks will be a total of 5 minutes long.
Both the posters and Lightening talk presentations will be judged, with prizes awarded in undergraduate, graduate student and post-doc/research staff categories. The time available for talks is limited, so we will not be able to accommodate all who wish to present a talk. Oral presentation slots will be awarded based on the quality and scientific importance of the abstract submitted. Presenters who request a talk and are not selected will be automatically registered for a poster presentation. Abstracts for both talks and posters should be 250 - 400 words with a short, informative title. The posters themselves will need to be 4 ft by 3 ft or smaller.
There are THREE deadlines for registration:
Monday, November 10, 2025 11:00 pm - Submission deadline for abstracts for Short Talks or Lightening Talks. Presenters will be informed if they have been selected or a talk or a poster by November 25, 2024.
Monday, December 1, 2025 11:59 pm - Submission deadline for poster abstracts
Monday, December 8, 2025 11:59 pm - Registration deadline to attend the symposium.
